Umm, what the actual fudge - maybe this part of the story will make sense later on in the book but rn it just feels so unnecessary

Ok so I’m now 150 pages in & still enjoying the book but Fon is just pissing me off lol. Aside from what he did (+dumb reasoning), his whole mindset that “being a real man meant being assertive” & “respect wasn’t simply given; it had to be commanded” and my favorite“[women] wanted to be able to submit” gave me the ick. Like be confident with who you are & not who you think others want u to be brother

80 pages in and WOW, I’m absolutely hooked

I’m only on page 100 and already I love this book, like it’s so much better than the great Gatsby (but that’s just my opinion)

the toxicity is crazy but so is the need to know what is going to happen next

I’m only on page 200 and I literally cannot put the book down - read for 2hrs straight, I’m obsessed with the story
