This would be at LEAST 100 pages shorter if we took out all the unnecessary repetition of past paragraphs and dialogue.
Train of thought of the FMC is one thing, but can the author just trust the reader to remember details for themselves? It’s heavy handed and boring.

I like the concept of the magic but it feels like it’s lacking something?
Maybe I’m just not vibing the FMC? Idk.
