I want to try out Joe Hill's style. This is a short read that was a freebie from Amazon Prime.

This book is far more profound than I expected. It is a Gothic tragedy where Victor is confronted with the realities of his unchecked ambition and failures to take responsibility. It is more a philosophical and psychological exploration than any type of horror story.

This is the original 1818 version of the book.

Instead of jumping into the next Red Rising book immediately, I will save that to start as part of my 2026 challenge. Until the new year, I'll try to read some bite-sized classics.
