hahahah now i’m 67% through the book (end me)

I decided to pick this up after seeing it recommended on reddit because the way Lenin writes is very confusing to me. After reading the reviews now I’m kinda scared but I already got a decent way into the book so I might as well continue

Contrasting the theory i’m reading from Lenin, with the protests now ongoing in France and Spain. It’s wild to see of how relevant the book is a century later to the conditions we’re facing now in the west

I’m feeling my brain grow

it’s been a slow read but i’ve been slowly but surely making sure that I will finish this book

I finally got to page 167…. i’ve fallen off a bit but i am determined to finish this book

Quite an enthralling read so far. I like the organization of chapters in months. So far I’ve read the pre history of 1917; leading into february, the month where revolution swept Petrograd; now I’m in March, with the book diving into how news of the revolution are now reaching the far flung regions of the extensive Russian territories. Power of the provisional government is cementing.

The way China Mieville writes is absolutely enthralling. It is very engaging and I am throughly enjoying my read of this so far

Going to give this book another go
