Quite an enthralling read so far. I like the organization of chapters in months. So far I’ve read the pre history of 1917; leading into february, the month where revolution swept Petrograd; now I’m in March, with the book diving into how news of the revolution are now reaching the far flung regions of the extensive Russian territories. Power of the provisional government is cementing.

The way China Mieville writes is absolutely enthralling. It is very engaging and I am throughly enjoying my read of this so far

The ideas of chunking makes so much sense. The times i cover the material before lecture I understand and absorb the information so much better

He started in Argentina, made his way to Chile, now he’s going to Peru, interesting book so far but a bit slow. I heard his journey around south america was what radicalized him so i’m waiting to see when that part happens. My prediction is it’ll probably happen in Peru or Colombia
