Sweet chapter

Mother Mass is so damn cool.

New friend told me about the Foxtail on Howell Branch. I got soooo much reading done there.

An emotional roller coaster in just 10 pages. Hell of a chapter!

Reading at Rollins, on a clear-sky day, is like heaven.

I got to read a scientifically-plausible lab discovery of teleportation from a Lagos scientist who has trust issues but is learning to take risks because she is learning to value people.
Hell of an opening!

I now understand the purpose of his forward: to illustrate how framing dominates our recanting of tales or history. It hit me the second referred to the pilgrims as Jamestown settlers; it's no different from saying "Indians" when they're of multiple tribes and cultures, "slave" instead of Ashanti or Songhai...
When I put my future kids in private school, I want this framing to be a part of the lessons.

Amazingly, illustrated internal strife in Chapter 18.

GREAT "Crossing the Threshold" moment. I have to incorporate this strategy in a future story.
