I was a bit skeptical at first when I read some of the reviews but now that I’m reading, I don’t really think the beginning is slow. I think it’s important to set up a good foundation and background. So far, the end of each chapter is always left on a good cliffhanger that makes me want to start the next chapter. But maybe it’s also just me trying to avoid studying for exams lol.
