This book was so good that I read it once but I am now re-reading it with a notepad and pen to fully digest the development of philosophy thorough the early years. Truly remarkable book that is a great first step for someone looking to expand their knowledge.

Wow! For anyone looking for a book that discusses the place of religion, philosophy and theology, this is exactly what you need. I am only 30 pages in but Holloway has done a great job at highlighting how human nature and self stems from the stories that we choose to accept and live our lives by.

Very digestible interpretation of Aristotles key writings on ethics. Urmson does a great job of communicating the value of Aristotle’s words. I look forward to providing a full review once I have finished
