phenomenal read after a month hiatus from reading

I am struhhhguhhhliiiiiiing. This book especially I am having such a hard time really enveloping myself into it. It feels harder to read? Like are the paragraphs a few mm wider? Perhaps I got used to flying through books that I forgot how to walk and now I'm confused as to why my leg is suddenly cramping. Bruhh and now interlude is diff people 😩 i just started understanding Shalan and Kaladin's personalities

I feel like I want to lock in and become immersed so bad, but im in that process of getting used to everything right now that im not super devouring it just yet. Like the magic sounds cool, im interested in the world, it's just getting used to something new. Like im lowkey binging his Cosmere universe, so it's moving from one book to another bambmbam. Like I just got used to emperor's soul and now I miss it

And so it begins.... Actually I only finished the first page cuz I wanna go to bed. Very excited tho. I did however read Kriss' entry on Roshar in Arcanum Unbounded. And... spoiler allerrrt?!?! Just finished The Emperor's Soul. It was actually really hard for me to start because I
1) Just finished Elantris + Hope of Elantris, so the post-story blues were hitting me hard
2) Knew this was a standalone short fiction, so didn't want to care for the characters that much; wanted to finish it the same day
3) Was desperate to start Stormlight so that I could be invested in one story.

However, ended up loving it.

Just finished The Hope of Elantris. Very sweet short fiction. Matisse the goat, love the story behind her character, very very sweet. Shoutout to Ashe for real

took me half the book to REALLY lock in. omg when Raoden and Sarene first interact in person AAHHHHHHHH love love love love. I remember so many times I'd stop reading bc I would get invested in one story line, and then id lose momentum when it switched perspective. But now everyone is crossing paths and omg now the seperated perspective chapters are like insights now omg c r a zy awesome.

Just finished Mistborn Secret History. AAAAAAAH so glad I read it now than after Era 2 omg. The closure is so nice. The amount of rereading imma do for that Kelsier in that wishy washy realm to the Ire. Soooooo much to discover omg. So far finished The Eleventh Metal and this one, now im going on to Elantris :) #excited
