first ARC audiobook
(that's how desperate I was for a new Marie Lu book)

I apologize if I flood your feeds with updated ratings
(I just want my stats for this year to be accurate I'm sorry)

after scouring the internet for a summary of the first book (because I didn't make my own), I have found a 1 sentence spoiler of the ending, and I'm hoping that's enough for me to dive into this one

I literally read book 1 last winter...I should not remember as little about it as I do, so I'm hoping it comes back to me

I'll pause the book if necessary and reread the first one

my first favorite character died not even halfway into book 1, so what are the odds that my second favorite character survives this one?
(not high, given the cliffhanger)

okay I don't think I cried over *this* book, so I should be safe to listen to it at work...right?

It's the first week of school and I've already added 6 books to my currently reading tab (one isn't on GR because it's a manuscript, but it will be published so I'm counting it toward my goal anyway)

prepping for the National Book Festival (like I need more books to potentially get signed)

Everyone place your bets on how much I cry!

hoping the love interest's name being Rodrick doesn't ruin this for me (thanks Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies...)

I remember nothing about this except I wanted more August and I think the end made me mad so I guess it'll be like reading this for the first time again

Someone told me this book is like DARK, so here's to hoping it lives up to that statement (and makes me stop thinking about the cliffhanger from 1899)

Netgalley keeps tricking me into reading fantasies where the romance is actually dark romance and upon reading reviews I fear I may have been duped again

Abby? Listening to an audiobook?

(I need something to entertain me at work)

thought I was rereading this for the third time but Goodreads called me out and said "actually, this is your fourth time reading this"

let a girl reread her favorites obsessively in peace, please

the only thing I remember about this book is that chocolate milk is *important*

the things I read for my Pagebound badges

reading this so i can understand the stranger things references as if the finale doesn't come out tonight anyway

Rereading this because:
a) it's all over my Instagram feed and I have FOMO
b) I didn't like it the first time I read it, but I loved the graphic novel adaptation so maybe my taste has changed
c) I'm in a Dead Poets Society mood and this is as close as I can get right now

Rereading because I feel obligated to read more of Hazel's story which means I need to remember what happened in this one

apparently having Amie Kaufman cite one of my reviews in her newsletter even though it was one where I talked about how much I cried has paid off...
because ever since (knock on wood) I've gotten accepted for every arc request I've made for her books
a win-win I guess?

Finally finishing my physical TBR for now
(I feel bad because I got this signed a month ago and then proceeded to ignore it)

hoping I remember enough about book 1 to make sense of this one
I have notes...but as always, they're not super helpful

Picking a new favorite character and hoping this one doesn’t die on me :(

The chokehold this book has on me is quite frankly probably unhealthy

All I want to do is sit and read this book but my homework said no

Of all the books that I expected to make me cry this year, this was not one of them but here we are

My cousin will be thrilled to know that her main character to play as in Betrayal (the mad scientist) is a main character in this book as well…

Thanks to whoever returned this book to the library after 3 years so I can actually read it during the appropriate season

my class is full of Matthias haters :(

i love rereading my favorite books for class because my professor has the same taste as i do
