Too insta love. I understand feeling attraction quickly and maybe some sort of connection; but these guys didn’t know each other two weeks ago. Saying “I love you too much” so soon is unbelievable. It took away from the story for me. It would’ve been more believable if they just grew closer and started liking each other, and even have sex without falling in love yet.

Glad to say it’s getting better. I’m pushing through because I’m reading this for a challenge. But I’m engaged now. I hope it stays that way. I still don’t care for the roles the friends have played so far, though.

On to worthless conversations that don’t drive the plot forward

Meh. Up to a boring start. The dialogue feels artificial and the inner dialogue is loaded with unnecessary wit that’s just dragging.

I hope it ends up being worth it to spend so much time reading about these relationships I don’t care for. I mean, I don’t dislike Kassian or Ivan as characters, they’re cool. But can’t help being annoyed at reading less and less of Sin and Boyd, and more and more of these other people.

I’m only 18% in, and I don’t care for these side relationships. I don’t care for the development of Boyd and Kassian’s situationship and even less for this new thing between Sin and Ivan. I’m pining for Sin and Boyd. Their growth can include being involved with other people, but I don’t want to see the development of those relationships in such detail. I want to see more of Sin and Boyd growing.

I didn’t care for the insta love. They cared about each other too much too soon, even for fated mates. I’m glad I pushed through, though. It feels like a good story now. It just starts too rushed and feels fake.

Oh, the misspellings…

For a book this dark, the Harry Potter things are so ridiculous and out of place. The sweet parts are so cheesy and feels like they’re two high schoolers.

This is weird. I’m about 75% of the way and there’s really no conflict on this story after they braved and made up. There’s no plot, just them going down a list of kinks and crossing them out.

I take it back with the sex scenes. Defiling a suit kink? Just ridiculous 😒

Ok, the sexy scenes save this a little bit. Just a little bit.

Hasn’t gotten better. Sticking around because of the challenge I’m trying to complete.

The narration is horrible 😤

At 200 pages and this is dragging.

This one is slow burn compared to the other two. Baikal and Kelevra didn’t wait all that long to interact directly with Rabbit and Rin, respectively. I understand why Sila and Bay are taking longer. This is a stalking story. I just wanted to note it.

It is weird to talk about a planet as if it were a country. I mean, they talk about the law of Vitality, as if we could talk about the law of Earth. It’s weird that a planet would have only one system of laws and a single emperor.

Ok, I’m done. Bored to death. And I don’t care for these characters.

Yeah, this definitely feels like it was written by someone else. And it’s so repetitive and dragging. I don’t get their attraction. I’m on chapter 24 and a whole bunch of nothing and a whole bunch of thoughts is what’s been happening. I’m skimming a lot. The only reason I’m pushing through is because I’m invested in the series.
