The events leading Patti Smith to her life and love and work are all so miraculous. It’s so well written and all so amazing that it feels like fiction. I can’t get over how perfectly the stars aligned one by one, over and over, for her to get the life that she did

Going on a Sally Rooney bender, I’m late to everything as always. For someone so publicized as a romance novelist, I think there is so much more to these themes than what the marketing looks like. Very strong societal thinkpieces disguised as contemporary love affairs.
