Hmm. Much of the text of this book has been a bit woolly but "Spend more than you can afford on something that raises your spirits every time you see it"? I'm with her on the "buy with your heart rather than your head" principle but exhorting fiscal foolishness is never a good approach. Like much of the text, this needed the paw of a good editor!

So far, great - excellent section on asking for help and the one on money is good too.

Good introduction - helpful, I think, although the proofreading is dire and I’m thinking I might need to write a tetchy-weirdo letter to Penguin pointing out that they’re letting down their own reputation with this error-littered text because it’s making me question every slight oddity of expression, wondering whether it’s just a curious choice of words or actually an error...
