I'm surprised this only has a 3.6 average rating 🤔. Is it the age gap?? I usually don't care for AG's but this one feels right. She's exactly the spark he needs. And he really IS trying to fight his feelings.

My first Lindsay Lovise! So far, I'm finding this to be a slower paced, charming romance with dashes of wit and intrigue. So many unanswered questions are building up! Why the animosity between Owen and Barnes? Who is Dove? Who is the villain? Fake relationships aren't my favorite but this is keeping my attention. I love that Owen's seduction lessons for catching another man are backfiring on him.

So far this one is sitting at a 5 star! It's complicated and angsty. But that's how I like them. Slow burn with only a couple very heated kisses at this point, exactly how it should be in this story. Others have mentioned a lack of dialogue which I don't have an issue with. It's not a "sorry, my bad" fix - it requires deep self reflection and a lot of internal processing.

I am in love with these two! Fantastic writing!
