Picking up this book back up now that I have happiness and hope back in my life 😛 it is BRUTAL read and Plath writes anhedonia uncannily accurate, but when considering her life it’s no wonder she was able to.

I am also shocked that this book is not more known??

I am STILL not sick of this prose?? I love it???? (This book is so unserious) (I thought this was supposed to be horror) (I mean I guess it is) (be so fr)

I genuinely have to stop for a few hours. Not cus it’s nasty but because the plot is too surprising and fun…?

OH THIS BOOK IS GOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD

I want to say this is so beautiful and heartbreaking but I’d be underselling it

I think if any book I’ve ever read has been AI this one might be it

Ah, I’ve also had a man say to me “I’ll spend my whole life making it up to you”

Started this 2 days ago and eating it like it’s my last meal on earth

Okay I am abt this now

I AM ALREADY CRYING

Evangeline has not de-centered men and I fear she never will

I think I just read the best short story I’ve read in my life

Better than I thought it would be already I cannot put it down

This book is pissin me off women do not just revolve arOUND MEN

I thought I loved a conscious stream of thought in lit, but maybe I have discovered I like it in doses. I am drowning here.

DEATH TO GROUP THINK

Tesco

Oh so we’re like going straight into this, all gas no breaks (cANNIBALISM!?)

adding this (at least the intro) to the list of books I think everyone should read

Odysseus cries a lot and yearns (I am here for it)

on page 497 and I would like to say I called the guardian's identity twenty pages in, and I have a witness (it was Alexander the Great that gave it away 4 me)

uhm... I don't think I am in the headspace to read this right now. The stinking, floating, rotting vinegar cadaver head felt too real, and unironically, I also don't think I can survive a 'bell jar summer'. Debating DNFing & reading later.

eating this up - still wouldn't recommend it to anyone
