The author does a really good job at showing how indoctrinated the MC is and I know her kinda racist inner monologue is going to be a part of her character development but holyyy is she insensitive

I love folk horror books!! I'm actually getting pretty creeped out by this book ngl

I'm determined to brute force my way through this reading slump

I want to dnf this because it's honestly just so predictable and cringe and the main character is so flat and ugh but I also hate dnfing books cause I am a completionist but this book is getting on my nerves

So this low-key reads like a guilty pleasure c-drama but you know what I'm here for it because I have used my brain too much recently so I think she deserves a nice break !

The main character is getting on my nerves can she USE HER BRAIN I'm ngl if there's no character development from her in the next 100 pages I might have to dnf
