This book makes me feel seen already 🥹

This book holds up from when I loved it in the 5th grade 🥹

“These men could agree to disagree about speaking in tongues and the gift of prophecy because other issues- including gender complementarianism and church discipline- were more pressing.” 🫠🫠

So far this book has been really beautiful to read. The way she puts her experience into words is captivating

This book has me giggling so far….. I just know I’m going to be sobbing at the end

Easy read to distract me from my school work….. read this cute story in highschool and loved it :))

This book has been so informative and eye opening so far. As someone who grew up as Southern Baptist and Billy Graham as the cornerstone of that denomination, I had no idea the political power he held with his celebrity status. This book is really making me think critically about my upbringing.

Okay it’s getting better…..

At this point it’s my own fault for not pushing through

Okay starting to really struggle with this book…… all that world building just to throw random new people and not explaining where they came from???

Not even CLOSE to halfway done but ITS GETTING GOOD

Loving this book so far!!!!
