Getting excited whenever Lydia and John's romance goes further, even though I've read the book a million times before and spend the entire time waiting for these moments to happen.

And so the annual summer reread begins. Man, I love this book.

I really don't care for the switching between chapters in the present and chapters in the past :/

I'm not sure how to feel about this so far. I remember really enjoying A Flicker In The Dark, but now I can't remember if it was genuinely good or if I was just 16. Or maybe the general plot / mystery was far more interesting?

Me reading this is a bit like watching a car crash, because I have better things to do (apply for jobs, study for my driving theory test, etc) but I just cannot put the book down. Can I blame Andy Weir if I fail the test??

Might just be actively realising part of the reason I usually avoid sci-fi is because I in fact don't like nor understand science. I am absolutely loving Project Hail Mary, but the chapter full of a million different scientific terms and numbers is a bit mind-nubming.
