Finishing up my year of Sally Rooney with Intermizzo, soon I will have read all of her released books. Sally Rooney my GOAT, free Palestine.

Finally picked this one back up lol, The Actress short story was a pretty fun quick read.

I'm going to ignore the mention of lockdown because in my head all of Rooney's books are set in the 2000s.

Oh at least he's self aware.

Felix is such a dickhead??

I am so scared.

"It's so hard to see the point sometimes when the things in life I think are meaningful turn out to mean nothing, and the people who are supposed to love me don't."

Eileen and Simon are going to destroy me, aren't they?

Only time I happily accept such an ending. Man, I love this book. See you again next summer, Lydia.

Cyrus boils my blood.

Getting excited whenever Lydia and John's romance goes further, even though I've read the book a million times before and spend the entire time waiting for these moments to happen.

And so the annual summer reread begins. Man, I love this book.

Finished procrastinating the last like 60 pages.

if i didn't have work tomorrow, i'd be reading this until the crack of dawn :(

i love reading on the train, so productive <3

Omg, I am so glad this is over.

Omg, I am so glad this is over.

I really don't care for the switching between chapters in the present and chapters in the past :/

I'm not sure how to feel about this so far. I remember really enjoying A Flicker In The Dark, but now I can't remember if it was genuinely good or if I was just 16. Or maybe the general plot / mystery was far more interesting?

Holy shit.

On the home stretch!!

What the fuck.

Me reading this is a bit like watching a car crash, because I have better things to do (apply for jobs, study for my driving theory test, etc) but I just cannot put the book down. Can I blame Andy Weir if I fail the test??
