Found the first short story, The House of Dreams, interesting but not enough to remain in my thoughts at all after reading.

Would give it a 3/5.

Don't get me wrong, Little Fires Everywhere is great but why did it just take me 35 pages to finish ONE chapter. I read chapter by chapter and having such long chapters almost makes reading feel like a chore.

Honestly, I dunno how to feel so far. Like it's intriguing, but I don’t think I really like the way Shari Lapena writes.

On the final, third part and oh gosh. It is so tense! For a book with over 600 pages, it actually goes really quickly.

When you're 57 pages in and already have to go on a small break and put the book down because it's already so dark.

One week and one day progress report (I thought today was one week but it was yesterday oops): 191 pages read. Really enjoying it so far :)

Chapter 3 completed, time to go to sleep.

I went into a bit of a reading slump but reading it again and I wish I never stopped. Also wished there were clearer chapters as they're more like part 1, part 2, etc. Cause I don't want to put it down until I hit the next chapter and some of these are 50 pages 😭
