Near the end and Hammond still doesn't get it

I read this as a teen but now it's obvious how much the movie softened Hammond's character

Can't seem to put it down, despite how much I despise the characters

I'm enjoying it so far but on the whole I could do without the journal entries from Amy. At this point, the mystery of Amy's disappearance is far more interesting. I'm still hopeful that the journal entries will have a real purpose.

Time to see what this book is all about before the movie comes out

So far I'm enjoying it. It's not award winning by any means but it is entertaining.
