Started this literally in October. It is very overdue at the library. I’m stubborn and am going to try to finish it this week. It’s a good book just struggled to get through it!

God this book for Christmas and I’m excited to read it! I feel like this will a be a slow and steady read. Especially since I own the physical copy, so 1.) there’s no rush the finish it and 2.) it’s difficult to hold and read while nursing, which is when I do most of my reading on my kindle.

Highly recommend for any pregnant moms out there! Lots of the info overlapped with what my doulas had already shared with me, but it was nice to have the uniquely Catholic perspective on birth. I really appreciated how all of her sources were noted!

I picked up this book in a little “take one leave one” roadside library. It bothers me a bit that’s it’s a series and I haven’t read any of the other books, but it’s just the flavor of novel I’ve been craving so I’m sticking with it. Read 70 pages yesterday so it must be pretty good
