This book uses the word sphincter far too much for my liking lmfao.

Tilly's a terrible person. She meddled in her 'friends' extremely personal affairs despite explicitly being told not to? She's known Bev for like, 2 weeks? And thinks it's her place to dox her to her daughter? And then has the AUDACITY to be MAD that Bev was angry that she'd done that? She is entitled and interfering. Man, I really hate this protagonist. The fact there's so many 5 stars is honestly shocking to me.

This book is meant to be about smart capable women... But tilly is dumb and a cheater? What's smart and capable about not telling your fiance that you don't like them, and instead sleeping with someone else in secret? Gross.

Just noting... The tone shifts are wild? It started if so fun (horror, but make in nonchalant) but now?? What is happeninggggg

So far I really like this book. The premise is very me. However, this girl... She is not very knowledgeable for someone who worked in a library...

I am having such a hard time getting into this book. This is my second attempt at reading it... I'm start to think this might be a dnf

I thought, based of the rating below 4 stars, that I wasn't going to enjoy this book. I'm only half way through and so far, I love it.

It's easy to read without being boring. The story progresses at a good pace and it's a pleasure rather than a chore.

I hope I feel the same way by the end. If I do, I might have a new favourite writer to add to the list!

'taking in Reece and me' REECE AND I!! For an author, you'd think she'd have a better understanding of grammar.

This book gives 'written by a horny man' vibes. Even though it's written by a woman. Like, she's in mortal peril, water is rising. And she says 'the water had risen to my breasts'. No woman, would ever say that. Chest? Sure. But FFS.

The beginning was boring and hard to stay focused on, but it's starting to look up now. I'm invested.

So far, I'm invested. I also have absolutely not clue what's going on. Whether it's herself (inherited??) Or someone else..
