There are very few male authors I wholeheartedly love, especially in the sphere of classics, since it always feels like they were either p3d0s or hated women or something like that but Zweig… incredible intellect and on top of that opposes Zionism, speaks of women’s liberation fondly, never talks down on women.. call me woke but for a 19/20th century author to be like this is RARE !!! I love !!!
