This has a surprisingly darker plot than the first book and I definitely should’ve looked up trigger warnings but I am DEVOURING this.

This book is giving me the perfect dose of whimsy. I love Vasya’s wild-child demeanor so much. Also lowkey love going into books blind and being pleasantly surprised by the content. I just KNOW this world-building and exposition are going to pay off because things are getting gooooood.

Been taking every free moment I have to keep reading because it’s that good. Frances was so naive in the beginning that I almost DNF’d it but that’s literally.. the point. Her character development has been amazing.
