Gerry is on page 102 of 880 of The Warburgs: The Twentieth-Century Odyssey of a Remarkable Jewish Family
My bedtime book - too heavy to take on my commute to work daily. It's a serious, fun, and enjoyable read that will have consequences as I enter the phase of The Great War and WW II of course. At this point, Chernow has made me laugh with his quotes and ponder the effects upon German Jewish people. With sadness yet to come, and sadness already that has occurred - I am enjoying this terrific history.

This book continues to be a great book for my daily commute. Enjoying this shortened read. I wanted to make sure that Jackson would be a read worth a deeper dive. I have found this to be true. Review will come at book's end. Thanks Sharon!

Andrew Jackson: A Biography

Gerry
Gerry is on page 59 of 456 of Blue Ice: The Story of Michigan Hockey
This author also wrote a book on the Halifax Explosion of 1917. His interest in the topic of the explosion is likely something he came upon as a the result of UofM's first hockey coach and Neurosurgeon student, while yet another was also a Captain of the team and also a Neurosurgeon student. Simply a superb book that is easy to read for fans of a great sport.

This book is a disappointing thus far, but I will finish it. I should have realized better with the title. I wish this book were written similarly to my current other book I am reading "Blue Ice: The Story of Michigan Hockey."

A fascinating and most educational read thus far. A book I wished I had gotten to earlier but am happy I can now read this for the significance it brings to a modern age.

With the History Channel series starting back up on 28 November 2018, I simply wanted to read this book. My first account with written history on Vikings was Volume I of "History of the English Speaking Peoples" by Sir. W.S. Churchill. I have read other things on the side or adjacent to the history of Vikings; however, this is my first book dedicated to the topic as a stand alone.

Gerry is on page 84 of 300 of Recollections of War Times: By An Old Veteran while under Stonewall Jackson and Lieutenant General James Longstreet (Seeing the Elephant)
This book is a free book from Yale University Press as a digital file, reason it is taking me so long to get through. Fascinating read however - looking forward to completing the full story.
