emily henry is so good at building up the perfect story on page 1 and shocking you with a plot twist on page 2; she’s totally perfected hooking readers 😭

painful read but we’re stuck in traffic so I can’t dnf;

she spent the weekend hungover because she had one beer lol this was definitely written for middle schoolers

TRAGICALLY ya; she drank 2/3 of a bottle of beer and is drunk? at a party she threw at her house; this is giving written by someone who hasn’t been to high school/hasn’t been to a party😅 not bad, but hard to read; i would have loved it in middle school

tragically ya, it’s unfortunately a not-great replica of tatb with bits of the story changed; rly wanted to like it, but it has every high school cliche in it😅 may be unfair since i just finished a great book and started this after, but I am a little disappointed in it so far

like. how does she write this. ART ! something big happens where you feel strongly, and in the next few pages you’re understanding the opposite perspective; crazy

so glad i decided to buy this book, i normally just borrow from the library (esp on kindle) but decided to get it for the beach as a treat, well worth it; making this everyone’s problem and will be recommending it till the end of time lol

almost paused the book a couple of times to say: i LOVE this author’s writing style, love the main character, and think that this is already worth the $8.99 on amazon and I’m not even at the beach reading it yet
