Holy crap I need to know the ending but I also have to sleep on a good note but goddamn this book got my nerves on edge

This book reads like a ya but at the same time has some crazy sadistic elements

The prison as cruel as it is, is really interesting

This book has officially lifted my blood pressure I need to know so badly what Arin will do with picking sides, if Slyvia will survive her powers

This is exactly what I was wanting from the first book like yes let’s go finally and holy cow my heart is racing rn it’s crazy how two ppl that are supposedly suppose to end up together have so much tension and the fact that their full on on war with each other

The TENSION is so INTENSE.

And their flirting with THREATS this is so hot!

Now this is what I was expecting from the first book

Finally the book is picking uppp

I wanna love this book so much but it’s pacing is so weird and has a bjt to many imperfections but the plot and slow burn and characters are so goood but I’m also not that attached to the FMC or the MMC I love the side characters tho

I hope this changes but the way the FMC is acting doesn’t fit with her narrative and it’s annoying me

I’m intrigued keep going

25 pages in and this book is darker and gorier than the rest holy shit

I just hope in the end he doesn’t think peace will find him in death bc like imagine we find out his backstory and it’s really bad and we sympathize for him and in the end he dies doing the right thing bc thst would make me sob but idk why but I feel like it could happen

Ahh Holland has also been evil bit for some reason I can’t hate him and now he’s abt to takeover Kell and I LOVE Kell so I’m really hating Holland rn but idk why but I feel like there’s more to him that we don’t know abt and if and when we get his backstory we will understand him and possibly he’ll become good realize that there’s more than one way to survive

Also Captain Alucard is so fascinating like at first I was sceptical but he’s growing on me and now I’m just as interested in his backstory as I am in Hollands

But I also love that Lila is messy I love a messy character, so I’m really hoping she and Kell do really well in the tournament also it’s been 300 pages and the two haven’t even met like they probably have sm to say to each other specially after the last book like plzzz meet up again ik u both think abt eachother

Lila is actually so cool like ok ik that’s such a basic way to put it but it’s true. But she’s also a really messy character which increases my heart rate so high!!! Like she is purposefully putting herself into situations that won’t end well but she does them all the same! And it makes her happy and like it’s an adventure for her but holy cow my anxiety can’t take it

I’m so back into my element my heartbeat is rising magic is stirring this is perfect

I’m intrigued by Kell, want to learn more about Holland and the magical world, Eila fascinates me and overall this book has me hooked.

Ahh so excited to be reading a fantasy! I’m me again!
