ahhh we are back with Alice - she has been invited to see a newspaper editor, which all goes wrong when he realises she is not a guy!
I think i love her, instead of taking his no to India, she manages to convince him to make her the first female foreign correspondent (against his judgement) and send her to South Africa... i can feel a reunion with Simon coming.
These 2 have got to fall in love eventually... surely?!

Dunn has been true to his word, which is good, but im worried about the coded messages being intercepted and understood... especially as Jenkins seems to be a flaming liability! He has managed to take on the Zulu's in a bare-knuckle fight and come out of it with his life and seemingly with the Zulu's respect - i feel he will have more of a story as we move through!

Chapter 7 - Where did Jenkins' knowledge of wine come from? I think i love him.
What is the daughter up to? Has all the information, giving it up freely and has tried to seduce him... it hasnt worked but im not sure how long that will last!
Zulu's have more men than Simon thought, and they are well organised - thats not going to go down well!
Dunn has confirmed he will lie to the king for them but wants no part

Chapter 6 - Zulu's first entrance into the story, Simon/narrator seems shocked at how well organised the army seems (that may come back to haunt them); they find Dunn and then meet the king - neither believe that they are traders, they tell Dunn the truth and ask him to think about how he is loyal to if war breaks out... the king has asked him to consider the same... who will he go with... i feel war is coming!

Chapter 2 - didnt think i was going to enjoy this but im kind of invested in him, he seems weak at the moment but i dont think he will be!

Loyalty to Selina would be a motive - both dougie and floyd exploited Selina's good nature.

Chapter 11
This is so predictable - the 4 boys have decided to try and find them themselves...its like the flaming Famous 5! Whats betting they manage to find them before the police do!

Chapter 10

Selling babies - i thought this was going to be some religious cult - that was a turn up for the books!

From the minute it was like a five star prison cell, i knew she had been well looked after, but i thought it was a cult - i never expected surrogacy!
I think something bad is still to come - I think Fern stole her phone, i think there is still something random about the couple, there is still stuff to come out.... and why did they throw her off the boat... and why did they kidnap her again! What does she know?

Someone has been arrested - a "crime scene" is being searched.
She has been to Scotts and he has aggressively dragged her in - he is dodgy!
Still dont know what happened on the Saturday - she is actually unhinged but i dont know if its just in a drunk way!
Where are Tom & Anna in all this?
