This novel is unique to me so far. The point-of-view has cycled among a few characters, and two of them seem to be becoming less and less reliable--a bit of a reveal every chapter that changes one's perception of each character. It's very fun, although the subject matter is harrowing!

Just wow

I'm loving this memoir about an Ohio woman who started working in a steel mill early in her adult life, after earning a graduate degree-- but there had been an error in her paperwork, and she didn't get her diploma because she never dealt with the situation. She has bipolar disorder, and that part of her life is also intriguing to learn about. I've had this on my list forever! Glad I'm finally getting to it.

I love books overflowing with history and science, so Harai has become one of my favorite writers!!
