Based on my memory of the movie, I’ve been surprised at how vicious Coriolanus’ thoughts have been. In the movie it seemed like there was a glimmer of him not being entirely bad but in the book he’s obviously just the worst. It definitely helps me understand his character more but also I think in the movie it’s a more interesting choice

Olga’s mom is talking about domesticity not taking away women’s capabilities to do other things, but it makes efficiency more important. For fertility, beauty standards, and feminine gender roles, time is always an important part of our lives.

This format is really fun but also you have to be slack-literate to understand which is annoying to know how well you know all of this shit

You can read a chapter and sense there’s something coming, and then it happens but then there’s one more sentence that Tim writes that is a complete shock and it feels like a knife.
