I just want to mention that I love how the pastor is like “the jam and German bread disappeared all too quickly. How tragic. I have to ration my cake to only three slices a day”

There should be a special edition of this book where it contains the black and yellow paint fingerprints that Arthur pressed into his diary. That would be so cool.

I’m very hooked so far. I love Jones’ writing style and how Good Stab’s narration sounds like an Indigenous oral narrative. I also love the distinct narration voices between Etsy, Arthur, and Good Stab

I am reminded to never read this series on an empty stomach. They did not need to describe those nachos in such detail like that but man do they sound amazing 😂

This book gives me an idea: I want to go into a Christian bookstore and compare and contrast different books that offer advice on prayer and see which ones teach you to have conversations with God like a friend and which ones teach prayer in other ways.

Pausing this book and going to read it in smaller chunks because it’s very much getting pretty sad

This quote in combination with something the Manager said about children who don’t get AFs being lonely makes me wonder if this is a commentary on tech isolating kids from each other.
