Pretty EMBARRASSING for a wannabe sex therapist, so yes, I’m reading (Mother Gillian Anderson’s curated) smut for science. And also maybe not for science- that’s the goal anyway.

guys I LOVE lispector but I forgot how much of an existential mindset I have to be in to read her. I paused this halfway thru but 4/5. I was lacking emotional stamina😞

Liked this so much I decided to do a capstone on it and now reading it feels like work😭 I’m pausing this!

If I don’t read a lesbian period piece before the strike of midnight hits at the end of each month, I’ll turn into a speckled toad.

Pride month is almost over, and I realized I haven’t read a single book with gay people in it. This book is reportedly abt lesbians. And oranges. Meaning my name is written on the inside sleeve.

I just started this, but considering that the last four books I read were pretty damn existential, I think I’m going to end up pausing this and reading something more narrative.

Maybe Allende or Steinbeck we shall see.

trudging along slowly through this little fruit of a book due to all my responsibilities. But still ten pages a night have managed to border on enlightening. Cyril is not who I thought he was, Catherine is not who I thought she was.

And I am most pleasantly surprised.
