Incredible the different perspectives Masters curates in each character

It gives an interesting perspective into life on a Native American reservation that I’ve never been exposed to before. I must admit I don’t find myself being drawn into the book though

Yea book is still a drag and Kazan is not a good man. Rife with excuses and adamantly refuses to take responsibility

He’s not a terrible dude tbh. His only real disagreeable characteristic is his adultery

I respect him more tbh. Yes, his adultery is condemnable, but other than that he’s a normal human being with normal battles

Book is a bit of a word-vomit. Excruciating amount of detail for the simplest experiences

He’s a bit of a whiny, self-loading guy lol

He’s very raw. But he’s sensitive about the things he knows he’s wrong about

Very artful style of writing rich with description and deep emotion

You can tell he’s a technical guy and not an author. Very matter-of-fact and simple writing style
