Loved it. The writing is some of the best and most poetic and least cheesy of all of the fantasy writers I’ve read.the writing is beautiful. No complaints or cringes. Love the prologue. It picked right back up where it left off and yet it’s confusing and intriguing and makes you want to read more. Great twists and turns with brining back past characters. Lenny Abigail callum.I’m excited to read the last book!

First thoughts: Big Swiss is literally like the female. Erosion of fight club 25 years later. Woah. Mi feel like this is a book of lies. Made of stories that the author, also as reckless as the main character, throws around, dives into detail, fabricated lol.

By and of book: ok sure it was a turn on at some points but I skimmed the last 1/6th. It was just not giving much sense. Might be a better movie.

It’s sloppy. Really sloppy work.
Also I hate the whole, small town, everyone friendly, unbelievably hot single guy, Gilmore girlsy set up.

Why is this book all the rage? Why didn’t take several months to be my turn on the hold list?

Didn’t love that sdid make it incredibly obvious that the Sam was going to die and they wouldn’t end up together the foreshadowing for quite a large part of the end of the book was kind of disappointing, but I read it out of order so most people probably already know that he was going to die but I think she could’ve made it a little bit less obvious for knowing that the order was probably going to be very controversi

I LOVE the simple yet powerful glumpses into the future, from the past, that the narrator uses. It’s electric. It covers the span of lifetimes without requiring a 1000 page book. It builds depth to the character and their experience without narrating every lived decade of their life. Ex: the next time she comes the house will be swallowed by the forest, etc.
