I really want to like this book. The subject of micro democracy, the sci-fi/tech, the characters are all exciting but overall I find this book boring. Why? I’m not sure; I can’t put my finger on it.

The whole idea of trying to guess and second guess what everyone thinks and how they’re going to vote just makes the world seem very plastic. Also plastic: a world of anywheres and seldom a somewhere.
