Apparently, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child won Best Fantasy Book of the Year? Really? REALLY? Over 100k votes in the FANTASY category? WHAT IS THIS. In what world would a freaking play beat some of the best-written books of their category of the year?! I'm so annoyed I can't even think straight. THE HP CRAZE NEEDS TO DIE

I miss reading.

Looking through the winners and nominees for this year's Goodreads Choice Awards and feeling sad over not having read any of them. Lots of them sound so interesting! I saw Sanderson's 5th Mistborn novel in the Fantasy category, and I'm so excited! With the penultimate book out already, the final volume can't be that far away (I mean, it's Sanderson). Maybe I should pick up the series again soon!

Well, if it weren't already obvious, I'm taking a break from this book to read other things for school. Hopefully I'll get back to this after the first term. We'll see!

Currently on the third book, Life, the Universe and Everything. The second book was pretty fun! I think the reason why I'm reading the series a bit slowly is that I can't connect very well with the characters, which is kinda a problem. The plot alone doesn't really hook me. That being said, I genuinely do enjoy reading the series! I just do it a bit slowly due to, well, reason stated above already, lol.

Only about three weeks left of the summer holidays and I'm still not done with the second book in the series, umg. I think I really need to step up my reading game, hue.

Done with the first book of the series, yay! It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed reading it, although it took me forever because I'm slow like that, hue.
Side note: As this is an omnibus edition, I'm not going to rate all of the books separately, but I'll probably add plenty of status updates as I read. You have been warned.

Not having any books set as "currently reading" is making me feel empty every time I open Goodreads. Hrm.

Got SO MANY books for Christmas, yay! Not that I lacked unread things in my shelves, but that's alright, because BOOKS. You just can't have too many books, ever. (I am aware Christmas was about two weeks ago, I'm just a slowpoke, huehuehue.)

I think I need a lesson on American culture. And perhaps lessons on gods from various mythologies or something. With that being said, the plot is pretty original and I'm finally starting to make sense of things. Yay!
