Is this who I think it is... *Gasp*

This is creepy already. 🫣

I would like to ban the word "unalive" from the vocabulary.

She is excited when he cooks 'real food'?!?! It's been a week! The food in your pantry is still good. The apples you bought before the comet would still be good. Hell, bananas would still be fine.

They are in GA in September (I think). You don't have to sleep in front of a fire. Unless ice is on the ground, you don't need a fire. 🙄

I love Hig. 😆

So far the most unbelievable part is him saying that Oklahomans can deal with snow. 😆 We certainly cannot.

Am I supposed to want these to get together???

So excited to get the ARC!! 🤩

This story is interesting and yet boring in parts. Alice's chapters are rough! It breaks my heart.

Got the ARC! Perfect to read on this snowy day.

"Ain't lookin' at you like that 'cause I'm a flirt. Lookin' at you 'cause I can't help it."
☺️

Apparently I stopped reading this around 16% back in 2023. 😬 So, I guess I will try to figure out why.

I got the ARC!!!! 🤩

I KNOW his Mom is not about to justify Lyla's actions... Excuse me?!?! You all deserve to be eaten by zombies if this is happening.

Just ignoring that he had wanted to marry her mother... 😬

How am I already getting misty eyes??? Who is cutting onions?!

I have read too many Post-apoc romances...My first instinct would be to trust the giant weird looking guy that protected me from hell hounds. 😆

This starts off surprisingly scary. 😬

I am forcing myself to finish this. I don't like Cam. I don't know what about her the reader is supposed to like??? Do I even want to get to the 3rd act conflict.

Really trying to trust the process...

I know one of the twins dies....but if it's the one I think we are led to believe, I will rage quit. Which is unheard of for me to rage at a SB book. So I'm going to trust the process. Honestly, I wish neither died.

Picking this up for a book club .... Not sure how I'm feeling

So excited to get an ARC! I am loving it so far! 😍

*swoon* I already love them together.

Because I'm already hormonal, why give into the tears... Bring on the tissues!

Is the steam in the room with us???

Why did I just get misty eyed about fictional characters reminiscing about fictional characters in a book... Book inception??

This is crushing... How can this have a HEA?????

Looking for the romance ....
