I desperately want to put the book in the freezer.

It's interesting how a book can be short and slow-paced at the same time. Feels like the story is just beginning.

I hate nothing more than a man with a high standing that justifies cruelty, unnecessary cruelty, because he claims he has "seen the world" when all he sees ends past his nose.

The poems are finished. Let's see if I can read the extracts of the poet's journals without help. I highly doubt it.

The fact that I'm enjoying a poetry book by a quite religious poet more than the simple, story-based first book should speak volumes about that first book.

Maybe Locke can pull a "The Grey King kidnapped me to piss you off more" to get out of his arrangement with Barsavi. That's cheesy though, so probably not.

This may be the effect of previous books I've read, but I'd just like to leave this unlikely, will-probably-be-super-false theory here so that we can all laugh when it's rejected: Locke either is or knows the grey king. He's not though. But let's just say.

Well, I may or may not have begun to like this book when they started having dinner as a family.

So far, the book is making me feel stupid. I wish it stops soon.

«در اطراف مرد، به‌سان فرشته‌های انتقام، چهار عضو باقی‌مانده‌ی جوخه‌ی سیاه ایستاده و ابری از دود سیگار بالای سر مرد پدید آورده بودند.» به دلایلی دلم می‌خواد این صحنه رو قاب کنم و نگه دارم: تک‌تیر و جوخه‌ی سیاه. Iconic.
