There are a lot of “jokes” in here that I can tell were written by a leftist. They’re also very raunchy. I haven’t really laughed once. The story is interesting, I guess, in a depressing post-apocalypse kind of way. And the political fish party is communist. I’m rooting for the little girl and her two dogs. I thought it was great that the dog mauled a producer. 😏

FMC not communicating with her sister is driving me nuts. If you think she wants a divorce why not get both sides of the story? Try to fix the marriage? Her sister married a good guy. Honestly sounds like the sister is the problem.

Her mom strikes again, dating a guy younger than she is. Much younger. Daughter becomes aware her mother is a ho’. Lack of communication all around.

The book jumping concept is cool though.

What do you mean her mom’s boyfriend went BACK to his wife and kids?? She KNEW he was married? And she’s a vegan to boot. Already I don’t like her mom. I am finding it hard to root for the main characters. I get the author is German so her culture is different but dating a married man is not ok.

Ok now I am actively frustrated. “Aren’t you curious about the prophecy?” NO!! Just kill her already!!! This is why the Bible says soothsayers and witches are to be stoned to death immediately. You don’t dabble with this garbage or ask questions. Just set her on fire or throw water on her so she’ll melt already. Ugh. This did not need to be 700 pages.

You can always tell a villain based on how he or she treats a dog. I hope this witch villain dies painfully.

If you need a dragon scale, why would you dig up Glaedr when you have YOUR OWN DRAGON? Take a scale from Thorn????

Not sure why I’m procrastinating reading this so much.

Thoughts: 1. If I had a sister and she did that to me, I’d never speak to her again. Forget forgiveness. She and her “new husband” would be cut out of my life forever. 2. I thought Joy was dead, and only the boy could see her, but maybe she’s in a coma or something and her spirit left her body and only the boy can see her. It’s weird that Daniel doesn’t interact with her.
