Like I understand you had to literally swim in it to survive and such but plsss stop talking about it I'm kinda trying to ignore that fact. And even when they where out of it, they still kept talking about it nonstop. Give me a brake😩

The world is so damn beautiful, especially the traveling city! And the action happens non-stop, which is incredible✨️

A lot of cool monsters. Also I love how these creatures are all beautiful and mesmerizing when they're actually really dangerous.
And finally having a fmc who's not a natural talent at fighting and whatever. It was refreshing seeing her struggle just holding her new sword.

Damn this is what I call a GOOD book!

It starts right in the action/trial/game. The worldbuilding is astounding compared to On Wings Of Blood where the information was constantly given instead of being woven into the story itself.

I also feel the friendships and the romance is promising, so I can't wait✨️

And not bc the story is so incredibly good, but bc I can't wait to finish the book! Hope the second will be waaay better. Otherwise I'm done with this series.
