Lots of great information and additional details on the history of reproductive care, especially the historical lead up to second wave feminism.

As usual, all our problems lead back to men who don’t know what the f*** they’re doing and can’t handle ever being wrong about something.

This is a second book of Annie Harnett’s that I’ve read. I really like her writing style, but the fact that this is her another time of writing a adult male character who takes zero responsibility and all the other characters (especially the women) walk on eggshells and don’t call him out for their bad behavior gets old.

Okay, but this is actually pretty good? Solid world building, standard magic laws, and really good chronic illness in women representation? And the romance leads aren’t unbearably annoying?
