I am loving this so far. Dante's prose is certainly deserving of all the praise it gets. Though, the bleakness of hell gets me down so this might take a while to finish.

Classic depiction of heaven and hell. I was tired of seeing the gay shipping memes about Dante and Virgil so I had to check this out myself. It's about as fantastical as I'd expected. I am loving it so far, though the bleakness of hell gets me down so this might take a while to finish.

I took a long break from this one for no reason at all. So far, one of the best books I've ever read. It's mildly intimidating going back into this when I've forgotten a large chunk of the minor characters and plot points, but I have a feeling I can manage.

Feeling rather exhausted of this text. There have been some parts where I thought I understood the intention of this book which have been washed away by new plot points and characters I have to admit that I'm uninterested in. Slogging through. Not sure if I'll ever finish this.
