I need ebook recommendations! Looking to further ignore my physical TBR in favor of something I can read on my iPad... kind of on an ebook kick but I also have trust issues with starting new books. In the mood for romantasy, or romance, but also would be happy with a summer read, literary fiction, thriller, etc., etc.,

So dramatic, so Wattpad, but that is just what I rock with folks 🙂‍↕️

I love Grady Hendrix so much, however getting through this book has been extremely slow. I think it may be beginning to get to the main story now though...

The amount of Puritanism which has not only been the foundation for our criminal justice system, but also the values our country holds near and dear... I'm not sorry to the Puritans, but you guys suck. I wonder why the immediate answer to anyone who doesn't agree with us is, "if you don't like it... leave!" the Puritans loved doing that. Oh, and casting out "undesirables". The apple doesn't fall far.

If I have to read these books about the criminal justice system for class, then I will be providing my opinion and analysis on Goodreads.

I... love this? I have never listened to Kelsey McKinney's podcast, but damn is this good. She discusses the history of gossip - the way it is used by different communities in ways to empower, warn, maintain social structures or to oppress (by upholding silence as virtue). It's quick, witty, but full of well-rounded research. Read!!!

I did not, for some reason, think that this was going to be so intensely Red Queen-esque, but I am not sad about this development

A lot of people said this book moves slow, and it does, but it’s so easy to read I really don’t mind it at all. Also seems like good groundwork so it’s not like it’s not serving a purpose.

Staying strong for the person who recommended this book to me but it might suffer from the “fantasy book written by a man” that I usually don’t finish…

It's summer - so it's time for dark romance, 100% slay moment

Usually, I hate thrillers, I'm very picky about the type of psychological thriller I read because I don't like the romanticization of violence. But, this book does very well in centering the main victim the story follows, and telling stories from all victims perspectives without drawing out gory details. Excited to keep reading and praying on the downfall of this man, slay.

This book is very dark and heavy… ach… idk if I can finish it, very well written, just not sure if I can stomach the content

Usually I assume I don’t love action fantasy books, but GOD. DAMN. Dragon riders… do or die… enemy tension… give it all to me now!!! This book is more than likely a fantasy of the year read. Already, that’s the bar.
