This reads like a better-written Jar of Hearts with worse characters. And I have zero interest in any of that. The narrator, Susan Dalian, was doing a good job though.

One of the best first chapters I've ever read.

I hate men like this but I'm nosy, the chapters are quick and the audio is available.

Can't wait to be done with this and move on to my loves, Jensen and Tucker.

It's giving cringe.

Everything and nothing continues to happen at the same time. I'm a firm believer that the author should've skipped the past chapters and just delved into the present with a few flashbacks. It's refreshing to see a story that presents its conflict first instead of relying on it but like that childhood part really didn't do sh*t.

What's the point of having a past timeline if we're not going to see the characters develop either individually or romantically?

this man was giving loser misogynistic momma's boy at first but I love the ongoing development of their relationship, it's warming my heart. he still needs more growing up and maturing but Lucy and Hadley have my whole damn heart. think this is the fastest I've ever read a book.

Feel like I'm gonna get what I wanted from Just Last Night in this. Started that and was immediately pissed off. Characters were downright annoying as all hell and for what reason?

It's giving (a lot actually...a few butterflies if I may) but now, I regret skimming reviews. Gonna be constantly waiting for it to go south.
