Simon Gros is starting Political Writings
While obtaining a copy, I never really took interest in this volume until I recently noticed some paper titled German Constitution is also included in it. Having read the outline of the General introduction, now I see that I've been missing a very important piece of scholarship.

While knowing about the general outline of the Philosophy of Right, I never took care to notice these texts, which are still very relevant.

Simon Gros is starting Let Them Rot: Antigone's Parallax
My copy of the book is titled "I'd Let Them Rot" and not "Let Them Rot". It might seem like a minor difference, but it's the one between opinion and injunction.

This variation of the title seems like a Kantian categorical imperative, while adding "I would" seems more like a personal preference, oddity or a quirk, which might be completely irrelevant.

There is a huge difference between Kreonic order and Antigone.

Simon Gros is on page 30 of 1567 of Hegel's Ladder (Vol 1 & 2)
I've only read the introduction so far, but still am immensely impressed by the feat this work was set up to achieve. I plan on reading both parts in their entirety in the forthcoming months with a reading done on a daily basis, and if I succeed, a detailed review of the work should follow on my blog. I am even considering making a personal translation of the book into Slovenian, but that will have to wait.
