Rereading Catherine and Jackson's story.

Re-reading this novel because why not?

Time to read this one. It was last year when I read the previous part of the series.

I'm not fan of a nympo heroine especially if it's first POV because I could feel myself as the mc. I'm not a fan of a hard smut too. Anyway, since I already started and completed half of it, I'll continue. I just need to ff the smut scenes.

I didn't antiipate that last part of thos story. That was a nice twist!

I'm at chapter 23. Some parts of this story so far is uncomfortable to read, but I'm fine.
The only rant I want to say about the plot is Carter's character. The first chapter gave me goosebumps to the point that I am now questioning if that was the same Carter I am reading in the recent chapters.

I want the recent Carter version, don't get me wrong. I like the story so far because it's mind fvcking me.

I'm on part 3, and I feel like I am part of the family. I understand the mc, her struggles in the family.

Sa kababasa ko ng thriller, medyo nagegets ko na kung saan papunta itong kwento. Anyway, it's interesting, yet boring for a thriller book. A lot of flashbacks related to Darker Family. But my intuition tells me they were there for a reason.

I was hooked even though the start is quite a bit boring. Anyway, I was invested with the family drama.

Oh, my diifhrkdkdjei GOD! I was literally speechless and told myself, "What the fvck did I just read????!"
That part one made me gasp!

I am guessing Emma is lying. I smell a misunderstanding.

In just a couple of pages I completed, I completely change my impression about this book. Wow! Sabi nga nila, "Do not judge a book!"
Sorry na kaagad after my previous update, My first impression about this was, "Okay, another stockholm syndrome wherein the girl fall in love to her man with a chiselled abs."

Something off about this story that made me, I don't know. Okaaaay?
As a romance sucker, I can't find the chemistry between the 2 main characters. The heroine's character is questionable too.
She's a CEO, but she willingly go witht he beast.
Now I know why ot has a lower than 4 ratings. Anyway, I will still continue. Perhaps, there's something that could blew up my head.

As I am now half of the story, many names came to my mind who might be the killer is.
Even Sara came to my mind. Possibly Adam too, he's not honest. Even her best friend. So yeah.
The sheriff seems different too. Maybe he was the killer?
Lols! Anyway, I continued reading this mystery/crime novel even though I was annoyed at Adam because I must admit that the story really hooked me.

The fvcking husband annoys me. I don't know if I'd continue reading this. He shoved his dck inside his mistress, then to his wife later on. What a fvcker?!!! Sorry! I hate the husband already. I'm curious though how the story goes on, so yeah, I'm helpless! 😂😂😂

I was looking forward to this novel after Brina and Mag's story because I love Paige's character. However, I'm not liking this story after reading Office Grump. I don't feel their chemistry or even the tension. 🤔
I'll continue but it didn't make me excited.
