It's great. I put it down a while ago, perhaps I need to pick it up again. I refuse to watch the show until I read the book. I purchased a 1980s copy on Thrift Books, it's pretty cool.

Good book. It's a slow burn, for me the craft of this work didn't fully sink in until the last 1/3. I can see how this was a classic, Lewis really taps into the experience of living in the 1920s Midwest. His ability to reach the female experience is shockingly spot on and I wonder how he got that close to it in his time.
