Breaks the cardinal rule of storytelling — it tells rather than shows. Still, enjoying this a fair bit as the author has interesting insights re: love vis-a-vis our childhood traumas.
Not drawn to any of the characters (yet) so it reads like self-help/non-fiction, even though it technically isn't?
