Oh wow this is exactly my jam like academic jokes and references to things that I know it’s really fun to read that I am enjoying my time with this book I love both the main characters. They’re both enjoyable and I really cannot wait to finish it because oh my gosh I have THEORIES.

Also I really love the idea of a chalk based magic system and the “magic school” being a department inside a normal university.

Such a page turner so far, I feel the tension at every turn of this story, and hype for what is to come. Excellent worldbuilding so far, and I look forward to finishing this book. The hateful tension between Greyson and Sheda is just, chef’s kiss.

Really fun math trivia, history and puzzles so far! I am enjoying how Matt reconciles math that most people know with more interesting math that is a little deeper down than most would go on their own.

Really great read so far.

I’m liking Tamlin so far…. Also I wonder about that blight thing, is it some type of plague? I’m excited to read on.

It’s going well so far! Really love the worldbuilding and the character dynamics. Though midway it seems to be slowing down, taking a side step into this whole riddle in a maze thing that takes a while.

Book 12 was a lot of fun

I’m loving this book so far! The characters may not be relatable on the surface but the book manages to successfully give them nuances that make them more human. I am also obsessed with the slow burn romance between the characters.
