Best fantasy book I’ve read in a LONG TIME

I feel so deeply connected to these people. I simply love this book.

it’s so reminiscent of red rising and other fantasy books with found family and a secret underlying rebellion. UGH LOVE

I had so much going on the last two months and I’ve been slowly savoring this book during my busy times. BUTTTT I finally found the time today and I cannot set this book down for anything. I’ve felt every emotion you can imagine physically rip through me. Easily the greatest series of the year. Review incoming shortly.

I hate myself for putting this off for so many years. Worth all the fame. I understand why this book made so many people fall in love with reading.

Disclaimer: I’m listening to the graphic full cast audiobook, and I don’t like it.

Real question is do I DNF this, try and power through, or buy the physical version in an attempt to like it more… Ruh roh

Had my suspicions at page 40 but I’m feeling confident now. I feel like I’m on a roller coaster between annoyed by the cheesiness and the blunt forward writing and then I’m obsessed with the plot on the next page.

This is SO much more engaging than six of crows ! YAY

Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar, Swiss, Brie, and allllll the other cheesiness you can imagine

Truly have been TERRIFIED to read this as it’s been top 5 on my TBR for literally 2 years. I’ve been too scared to start, as it’s long and the hype is intense…. DUMB DUMB DUMB! This is so my type. I predict 5 stars <3

Not hating per se, but does this woman know how to write a book WITHOUT the grumpy sunshine trope? Every single MMC I’ve read about is literally the same person different name.

I don’t think I’m a fan of reading common brain rot tik tok phrases in my books💀
