I can’t believe “trad wife” glorification is making such a big comeback. Because when you look at cultures that practice this, it’s full of abuse and sadness. Obviously the choice is yours to do what you want. But man this shit is bleak.

If you don’t have empathy for migrants I genuinely think you’re a super villain.

This book is so emotionally heavy I’m having a hard time finishing it but I’m determined to do so this weekend

I feel like anyone who has a sliver of pattern recognition knew exactly what was happening when the book started. Maybe it’s the author but it’s like a formula she follows. The books are all kinda the same with mid writing. They are entertaining enough and well paced but it doesn’t do much for me when I use my brain lol.

The first like 60% of this book could’ve been shortened down like 100 pages. This second half feels like a whole other world that needs more time to tell the story. Idk if that makes sense but that’s how I feel. First half too much this half not enough.

Large Marge is one of my favorite characters I’ve ever read in my whole life. I wish I had a large Marge in my life. She’s an icon.

I’m sick to my stomach this book made me cry PAGE 6. Giving Kristin Hannah a run for her money on how emotionally agonizing a book can be. Idk if I’m gonna be okay after this y’all. Pray for me.
