Leviticus is the beginning of my understanding of the hypocrisy that exists within the religious extremists in my life. It’s so funny seeing an ex evangelical perspective on it WITH RECEIPTS. My next bible study I will be rereading Leviticus and taking notes lol.

This has a lot of spicy content for a literary novel I wasn’t really expecting it and I’m having a hard time getting through it because that’s not usually something I tend to enjoy. Her writing is beautiful she’s just losing me on this.

So trans people have higher rates of homelessness because their families disown them due to bigotry, and they are discriminated against in the workforce…so they commonly resort to sex work to survive…and statistically insecure heterosexual men engage in sex with them (more than ANY other demographic) and then kill them because they’re insecure about it? if ppl could just be cool this wouldn’t be such an issue
