it's unfair that he left the transphobia for so near the end :( he has lulled me with beautiful scenery and funny passive aggressive remarks - occasionally jostled me with the random xenophobia(?) that keeps you guessing if it's racist or just him making fun of the fact he is also an immigrant? and then he goes and writes the most easy jab at kaitlyn jenner imaginable and isn't even inventive in his transphobia...

i have now decided on a new answer i will give to the question "if you could go back to any time and place in the past or future, which one would it be?"
I would choose the time when the decision to build stonehenge was taken just so i could understand it.
the dude paints a good picture (but i need to flag some xenophobia in some parts of the book. but he is so goddamn funny in other parts so it's worth reading)
